3ds Max - Moment of Inspiration - Vray
Those biblical sentences "Demande et tu recevras" (ask and it shall be given to you) and "Aide-toi toi-même" (God helps those who help themselves) have been inspired by Philippe Guillemant's book "La route du temps" (The road of time).
MAKING OF
The pattern of the guilloché was created in Autocad and then edited in Illustrator.
The stingray leather beads were modeled in 3ds Max to obtain a Zdepth map used as a displacement map in the final renders.
The case and the oscillating mass were modeled in Moment of inspiration, the rest of the watch was done in 3ds Max.
